Thirty years ago, it was just about Photography.
Not so anymore — the two compliment each other.
Although videography is becoming extremely popular these days, I still get the occasional couple that reaches out about only photography, saying like…
“A wedding video? We’ll probably watch it once and then never again.”
Perhaps.
I mean, maybe that’s the case with your PARENTS’ wedding video from 1983 — you know, that long, 30-minute full ceremony video where the videographer was sitting in the back of the room, not moving?
But that’s not what we do at Robert Burns II Photography & Videography.
We make videos that are a lot more modern.
why Aerials?
It’s less that people don’t want drone, and more so that they never realized it could be used for weddings.
Prior to the early 2010’s, drones were ungodly expensive, and not used much for anything non-commercial. Then drones exploded in popularity as the costs fell, and you began seeing them for use with real estate listings, construction work, and you guessed it, weddings. There are still people who don’t realize what a valuable tool they are though.
Offering aerials as a core competency for my brand are so important to me that I got licensed in it. I studied for months, logged hundreds of flight hours, took classes and got my stripes a couple years ago.
Little known fact: I used to fly drones for my old day job working at a family of high-end retirement homes.
Drone is a great addition to your wedding package.
FAQ. One of the most common questions we get is…
“how long will our finished wedding video be?”
our videos usually end up between 5-9 minutes in runtime.
…When we edit your Highlight Video, we basically compile aspects of every part of your day — and curating it into a single ‘Highlight’ Video. For every client, we promise no less than 5-7 minutes in length, but there are some times where we have so much amazing footage, that we produce videos that are a little longer.
So below, you’ll see videos ranging from 5 minutes…. to 8 minutes… to 12 minutes.
That is simply our way of under-promising, and over-delivering (see Reviews for more).
